Grammy Award winner Gloria Estefan will help launch the new book “Broadway Baby,” by participating in a special reading to take place on Sunday, February 21 at 3pm. A portion of the reading’s ticket sales will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The event is being held in conjunction with One Grand Books.
The work, which is written by Russell Miller with Judith A. Proffer, takes readers on a truly theatrical journey from Miller’s crib to the playground to the heart of New York City and Broadway.
Join the online launch joining are Broadway stars Santino Fontana, Caitlin Kinnunen, Laura Osnes, Ruby Lewis, Telly Leung, Kara Lindsay, Ann Sanders, Adam Pascal, Kevin Spirtas, Nik Walker, Kevin Massey and Astrid van Wieren.
Estefan has earned three Grammy Awards, a Kennedy Center Honor, an American Music Award and numerous other honors. A biomusical of her life “On Your Feet,” ran on Broadway from 2015 to 2017.
