Gelatieri Gentile is a Sweet Spot near Union Square

Started in Southern Italy in 1880, Gelatieri Gentile is the real deal when it comes to traditional gelato made with quality ingredients and ingredients handed down for generations.  The gelato comes in a variety of flavors like apple and peach sorbets (seen here) as we well as Stracciatella made with cream and chocolate chips, Chinotto (citrus), Nocciola (hazelnut), Frutti Di Bosco (mixed berries), among others. The gelato can be purchased by the cone or cup, including mini cones if you’re looking for just a taste.  Assorted sweets, including orange cake, and crepes are also offered.
