Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show Returns this Weekend

Get ready for a dazzling display of icy creativity at the fourth annual Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show on February 8, 2025! Witness ten artists team up with expert ice carvers from Okamoto Studio as they transform massive blocks of ice into stunning works of art—live, from 12 to 2 p.m. Stick around for the awards ceremony and sculpture installation from 2 to 3 p.m., including the audience-voted "People’s Choice" award.
Beyond the sculptures, enjoy ice carving workshops, arts & crafts, live music from The Illustrious Blacks, and a powerful performance by Fogo Azul. Grab a bite from food trucks like Nao Caribbean Flavors, The Original Soupman, and Deploy Coffee, plus a meal at Makina Café in Colonels Row.
