High above the bustle of Midtown Manhattan, HB is poised to become the city’s newest destination for skyline sunsets and rooftop cocktails. Opening on the 37th floor of 346 West 40th Street, the glass-enclosed, 4,000-square-foot rooftop bar from Promise Hospitality offers sweeping views and a menu built for lingering. Framed by 17-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and dressed in chainmail columns, walnut herringbone floors, and laser-cut mercury mirror brick, HB is both dramatic and inviting—part cocktail haven, part cosmopolitan escape.

At the bar, acclaimed mixologist David Choi delivers modern interpretations of classic cocktails inspired by the open sky and city below. Signatures include the Avión De Papel with mezcal, tequila, Aperol, and Amaro Montenegro; the Sakura Sour with Japanese whisky and cherry blossom syrup; and zero-proof options like the Yuz A Lyre, featuring yuzu juice, elderflower, honey. Guests can enjoy their drinks indoors or on the lush outdoor garden terrace, designed for late-night lounging with panoramic views.

In the kitchen, Chef Pietro Aletto—co-owner of Grand Street Pizza—draws on Mediterranean aperitivo culture to create a seasonal bites with a Gotham twist. HB's hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 5 PM to 12 AM, and Thursday to Saturday from 5 PM to 2 AM.
