Hidden Leaf has opened its doors at Manhattan West.  Located inside the Midnight Theatre, the restaurant is led by Chef Chai Trivedi (Pranna, Tamarind, Buddakan) with shareable plates focusing on southern China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. Renowned bartender Lain Griffiths, of Dandelyan & White Lyan bar in London, is heading up the cocktail bar.

On the menu are upscale bar snacks. Think Pork & Shrimp Toast with daikon carrot marmalade and Edamame and Green Pea Guacamole with crisps.  Plates for sharing include Yunnan BBQ St Louis Ribs, Tuna Crudo “Yu Sheng” with Singapore Slaw, and Stuffed Pork Skewers with Honshimeji Mushrooms. Diners will also find assorted dim sum and rice & noodle dishes. Larger plates include Kung Pao Fish, Broken Golden Chicken with sweet chili sauce and Shao Kao 28-Day Dry-Aged Ribeye with Grandma’s Potato Gratin.

Live entertainment will arrive at the Midnight Theatre later this fall.

Hidden Leaf is located at 75 Manhattan West Plaza, New York, NY (212) 715-8686
