She is a supermodel, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Now Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin is also gracing the cover on Vogue Czech Republic. And the fashion world turned out to honor Costin who was wearing a sleeveless black gown, black gloves and a shimmering diamond necklace.

The room was filled with glitterati and fashionistas.

Costin telling us she felt overwhelmed, “It is such a gift being able to do this and I really feel quite shy and humbled by it. To be on this artistic journey where Cameron, the photographer, took me. I feel that it is very special.” That is Cameron Postforoosh who conducted the photo shoot with Costin as a brunette.

Costin is also known for her middle name, Vanderbilt. She is a descendent of railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt. His name is also on Vanderbilt Hall which was just steps away from where the event was being held. She's been referred to as a "rebel heiress" in some articles. To that she said, “I hate the word heiress. I don’t know what the word means to be honest with you.”

Instead, Costin is focusing on her love of fashion through Sohomuse, a company she co-founded and where she serves as CEO. Described as a social network for the creative industry with an exclusive membership-by-invitation-platform, Costin says it’s really all about supporting the next generation.
