Mayor Eric Adams has announced a record 100,000 free tickets for New Yorkers to experience the 49th annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks in style. This year’s show will light up the Lower East River skyline near the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, with prime viewing from Brooklyn Bridge Park and Manhattan’s Pier 16 and Pier 17 at The Seaport. Tickets drop at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, July 1, and will be distributed online on a first-come, first-served basis.
Want early access? The mayor is giving the first 2,500 people who text “FIREWORKS” to 917-909-2288 four free tickets each for Brooklyn Bridge Park—before they’re released to the public. Otherwise, you can request up to four tickets for Brooklyn or two for The Seaport when general distribution opens. Don’t wait—this expanded offering is 10 times larger than last year, but with 100,000 spots and a holiday crowd, they’ll go fast.
