Flip’d by IHOP, the new fast-casual concept, is serving up IHOP’s first plant-based sandwich.
The Cali features a plant-based sausage patty from Sweet Earth crafted exclusively for IHOP, plant-based Just Egg, Arugula, Roasted Tomatoes and Avocado on a vegan bun. The new Flip’d by IHOP Flatiron location will serve as the test site for this first-of-its-kind plant based offering for the entire brand. If successful it could be expanded nationwide. IHOP says the new sandwich follows more than two years of testing plant-based products at IHOP’s culinary kitchen creating what it hopes will be the right fit for its guests.
