La Brasserie to Celebrate Bourdain Day

La Brasserie, the new French restaurant from Francis Staub, will celebrate Bourdain Day this June 25-27 at lunch, brunch and dinner with menus featuring the iconic chef’s best-loved dishes.

Bourdain Day, Saturday, June 25, is his birthday, the official time to toast and remember Anthony Bourdain and his legacy as chef, author and bon vivant. The new La Brasserie, located at the original Les Halles space at 411 Park Avenue South, is the ideal place to celebrate. Just opened, it upholds the enthusiastic spirit of Bourdain and his classic French cooking.

Bourdain Day menus at La Brasserie will feature his favorites, especially his signature Steak Frites with Béarnaise. He adored foie gras, here offered as a torchon appetizer, and preferred cheese for dessert. All dishes are prepared by La Brasserie’s chef, Jaime Loja, known for his artistry with sauces.
