Chef Andrew Carmellini is ushering in the New Year in grand fashion at Lafayette. The restaurant, located at 380 Lafayette Street in NoHo, has set up a series of stunning winter chalets wrapped in garland with twinkling lights called Le Village at Lafayette.

Inside, diners will discover an elegant setting with marble table tops, wicker chairs, a globe light with snowflakes dangling above, and a small white Christmas tree placed atop each table. The chalets are fully heated with carpeting and a plush white throw blanket.

We haven't gotten a glimpse of the menu yet, but Lafayette is known for its French cuisine including dishes like Prime Beef Tartare "New Orleans," Escargots Lyonnaise, Rotisserie Chicken Provencale for Two, Prime NY Strip Steak Frites and Moules Frites with a spicy tomato broth.
