The menu begins with dips like baba ghanouj; Syrian hummus served with sauteed meat; muhamara made with crushed red peppers, walnuts and pomegranate molasses; and kibbeh nayeh, a type of steak tartare made with burgul wheat. Entrees include assorted shawarma and kebabs, lamb chops, grilled quail and more. From “Grandma’s Kitchen” come dishes like Kibbeh Labanieh, kibbeh balls cooked in a yogurt sauce with rice; Stuffed Grape Leaves with spiced lamb, garlic and lemon broth; Fattet Makdous, eggplant stuffed with ground meat over yogurt garlic sauce; and Tajik Samak, grilled fish filet over vermicelli noodles.
