Pastificio Di Martino, Italy’s best-selling pasta maker, and creator of La Devozione, a multifaceted dining experience at Chelsea Market, will be participating in the Plant Based World Expo, September 8th & September 9th, at the Javits Center.
To commemorate the occasion, La Devozione’s Executive Chef Alessio Rossetti has created vegetarian pasta menus that will be served at both The Oval and A Tavola restaurants.
A Tavola’s menu will be offered from September 5th through September 11th during lunch and dinner. Highlights includes: Mista Corta con Fagioli, cannellini beans, parsley; Lumachine e Lenticchie, lentils, chili pepper; Fresine Spezzate e Ceci, chickpeas, parsley
The Oval’s menu September 8th and September 9th includes: Mille Righe, roasted red pepper, garlic, extra virgin oil; Elica Gigante, red beet ragù, tomato, extra virgin oil; Pacchero Calabria, with a vegetarian twist consisting of yellow tomato, fresh basil, roasted eggplant, and basil oil; and Linguina Marco Polo, linguine cooked in oolong tea served with garlic purée in a parsley foam topped with black truffle caviale.
