“Movies at the United Palace with Lin-Manuel Miranda,” which takes place at the legendary movie theater in Washington Heights (4140 Broadway), has announced its 2025 season. It celebrates the 10-year anniversary of “Hamilton” on Broadway with a series of recent films starring the original Broadway cast of the groundbreaking musical.

After each screening, attendees will be treated to a special conversation between Miranda and the original “Hamilton” cast member starring in the film. The movies are free, with tickets available for reservation a week before each screening.

The series begins on March 10 with a screening of “Satisfied,” a documentary about Renée Elise Goldsberry’s journey navigating motherhood and her Tony Award-winning role as Angelica Schuyler, followed by a conversation with Goldsberry.

On April 28, there will be a screening of Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of the classic 1957 musical “West Side Story,” followed by a conversation with Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, who starred in the film as Anita.

On June 2, Leslie Odom Jr., who won a Tony Award for his role as Aaron Burr in “Hamilton,” will be on hand for a screening of “One Night in Miami,” a fictionalized account of a real meeting in 1964 between Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown, and Sam Cooke.

Additional screenings will take place on May 5 and September 7, with details to be announced closer to the date.
