Little Ruby’s Café Pops Up in Montauk

Little Ruby’s Café, which operates Australian-inspired cafes in NYC, is popping up at Ruschmeyer’s in Montauk [161 2nd House Rd.] from Memorial Day weekend (5/27) through Labor Day with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Breakfast options include Avo Toast, Banana Bread with passion fruit butter, and a Green Eggs Bowl with salsa verde. Lunch and dinner brings salads including one with Crispy Rice and Shrimp Avocado version. Steamed Clams with garlic butter, and a Catch of The Day are also being offered along with pizzas from Chef Angelo Womack (formerly of Roberta’s) ranging from a classic Margherita to Spicy Soppressata and a Clam Pie.

Little Ruby’s cocktail program features summery takes on classics, also available as large format Punch Bowls. They include Surfers Paradise with mezcal, lime, mint, and grapefruit and Gold Coast with vodka, lemon, passion fruit, and chili. Frozen drinks like Frosé with Grey Goose vodka, rosé, lemon and strawberries are also on the menu.

Little Ruby’s Café at Ruschmeyer’s is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Wednesday through Sunday from 9AM - late. The kitchen closes at 10:30PM and the space transitions into bottle and table service until 3AM.
