Chef Helene Henderson is offering a taste of Malibu for a good cause. The founder of Malibu Farm will be in New York City on February 15th to host a special charity brunch, with 100% of ticket sales going toward Habitat for Humanity’s ReBUILD LA campaign, aiding communities devastated by the recent California wildfires.

Despite Malibu Farm’s NYC location reopening, the original outpost in Malibu remains closed due to ongoing gas shortages and the closure of the Pacific Coast Highway, leaving the area eerily quiet. But Henderson isn’t sitting idly by. When the fires first broke out, she sprang into action, donating nearly $50,000 worth of perishable food to first responders and those in need.

Now, she’s doubling down on relief efforts with an à la carte brunch menu that includes dishes like a Breakfast Burrito stuffed with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, avocado, and roasted potatoes; Egg and Avocado Toast with housemade ricotta, radish, and lime; and a Malibu Eggs Benedict featuring smoked salmon and hollandaise on a housemade English muffin.

Diners can support the cause simply by showing up and indulging. Reservations can be made through Resy, with every dollar going to help rebuild the communities that have long defined the Malibu coastline.

Malibu Farm is located at 89 South St at Pier 17 in the Seaport. For more information, visit malibufarm.nyc
