As part of Cititour’s Meet the Nominees series, we sat down with Jasmine Amy Rogers, Tony nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, to talk about her star-making turn as Betty Boop in BOOP! The Musical. In a roundtable discussion with Broadway journalists, including Cititour’s Brian Scott Lipton, Rogers shared insights on bringing the iconic cartoon character to the Broadway stage and what the nomination means to her.
