Menu Revealed for Chef Anita Lo's Collab Dinner Feb 7 at Balaboosta

Chef Anita Lo is returning to the kitchen for a one night only with a collaboration dinner hosted by Chef Einat Admony at Balaboosta.

The menu is centered on their favorite childhood comfort dishes while growing up.  Here's a peek at what the menu will feature:

Pastrami Sandwich
house-made pastrami, malawach, scallions, mustard
 
Roasted Cauliflower
herbs, cashews, hoisin
 
Longevity Noodles
lobster, yellow chives
 
Duck Breast
baharat, star anise, grape schug, sticky rice grape leaves
 
Warm Sesame Mochi
coconut caramel, aromatic chocolate dipping sauce
 

Anita Lo is a French trained chef and cookbook author (Cooking Without Borders and SoLo, a Modern Cookbook for a Party of One) based in New York City.  She is best known for her work at annisa, a contemporary American fine dining restaurant in the West Village which she owned and operated for 17 years and which received a three star rating from the New York Times. 

The dinner will be held Tuesday, February 7th at Balaboosta (611 Hudson St, NYC) from 5:30pm to 11 pm.  Tickets are $110 pp (gratuity included).  Reservations via Resy
