More NYC restaurant openings

It's so nice to see some many restaurants reopening as we awake from this pandemic. While the city hasn't officially opened yet (not sure what they are waiting for) many restaurants are already making the move, even if it is just takeout from now. Hopefully, city officials will soon allow outdoor dining for the warmer months. Below are a few openings that we spotted just this week.

Han Dynasty in the East Village is now open for takeout and delivery. The menu includes well-known Asian dishes like Dan Dan Noodle, Kung Pao Chicken and Pork Fried Rice along with some spicy fare including pork belly in sweet garlic chili oil sauce, spicy beef noodle soup and a spicy hot pot.

Also in the East Village, The Smith is offering its food menu to go along with cocktails. Who could resist a Cucumber Loco with tequila, French orange liquer, cucumber, lime and salt, or a Negroni with gin, campari and red vermouth.  Beer and wine are also available for delivery.

Red sauce joint Carmine's is open now for takeout and delivery in the Theater District.  The restaurant is known for it Italian classics like zuppa di clams, stuffed artichokes and assorted pastas with choice of sauce as well as shrimp fra diavolo and veal scallopine.  See menu
