The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s “Movies with a View” series will begin on July 7 and continue each Thursday through August 25. Doors for the lawn will open at 6pm and movies will begin at sundown. A DJ from Brooklyn Radio will spin music before each film, and each movie will be preceded by a short film chosen by BAM Film.

The series lineup will include “Before Sunrise”; “The Bourne Identity”; “Crazy Rich Asians”; “How Stella Got Her Groove Back”; “Jurassic Park”; “Thelma and Louise”; and “The Mitchells vs. the Machines.” It will conclude on August 25 with a “Public Choice” night with the options of “Back to the Future,” “Mamma Mia!” or “Mission Impossible.”

Guests can bring their own picnic or enjoy food and drink curated by Smorgasburg, opening at 5pm along the Pier 1 Promenade. Vendors include Dylana’s Sweet Treats (Brooklyn local artisanal cakes, puddings and ice cream combos), Mao’s Bao (sheng jian bao – pan-fried & steamed buns), Burger Supreme Burger (smashburgers), Toastieland (Australian bakehouse and grilled cheese), Petisco Brazuca (Brazilian coxinha and empanadas) and Smorgasburg Bar, which will offer local beer and wine on tap.
