Yes Chef Food Fest Takes Over Greenpoint June 7-8
Brooklyn’s biggest culinary bash is back—and this year’s Yes Chef Food Fest is bigger, bolder, and tastier than ever. Held at a massive 40,000-sq-ft waterfront venue in Greenpoint, the fest features 30+ restaurants including Fat Fowl, Charles Pan-Fried Chicken, Pecking House, Apollo Bagels, NADC Burger, and Mimi Cheng’s. Expect one-of-a-kind dishes, free caviar bumps, live bluefin tuna breakdowns, and chef collabs you’ll be bragging about all summer. Tickets are going fast.
Black Seed Bagels Opens in Long Island City
Black Seed is officially baking in Queens with its new Long Island City outpost at 5-18 50th Avenue. The shop features indoor and outdoor seating, daily bagel baking on-site, and their signature honey-boiled bagels stacked with top-tier ingredients. Loyalty perks and pre-ordering go live soon via their app. It’s their tenth location—and a welcome one.
Fan Fan Doughnuts’ AAPI Collab Box Returns
Seven AAPI creatives, seven wildly inventive flavors. Fan Fan’s AAPI Heritage Month box includes doughnuts like guava curry, sesame-lemon strawberry, pandan coconut, and tamarind-date. Proceeds support Heart of Dinner, and boxes are $50 each. Available for a limited time in-store or by pre-order—don’t sleep on this one.
Postcard Bakery's AAPI Pastry Box
Postcard Bakery teams up with Lysee and Lady Wong for a weeklong pastry box collab honoring AAPI Heritage Month. Inside: yuzu cheesecake, rose azuki steam cake, rainbow steam cake, and Lysee’s chocolate pecan cookie. A portion of the proceeds go to Apex for Youth. Available in limited quantities May 20–25.
Shota x icca Omakase Collab on June 9
