To celebrate the Coronation of Charles III, Hawksmoor has two specials to toast from across the pond! Available from Saturday, May 6 - Saturday, May 13th, the restaurant will be offering a classic Sherry Trifle and Coronation Chicken Sandwich.

The Sherry Trifle features 20-year-old Oloroso and fresh raspberries ($16). The dessert dates back to when James I was on the throne approximately 400 years ago. The Coronation Chicken Sandwich is a towering crispy chicken sandwich with refreshing slaw and mayonnaise, whipped with bitter-sweet-spicy lime pickle ($26). The sandwich was originally created for Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1953.
Executive Chef Bryce Shuman is unveiling his new spring menu at Michelin-recognized Sweetbriar. Appetizers include Chilled White Asparagus dressed in an herb vinaigrette; Sweet Potato Velouté finished with tarragon crème fraiche and black pepper; and Grilled Baby Romaine cooked over an open fire and served with braised gigante beans. Main courses include Bouillabaisse with cockles, shrimp, chiparones, octopus, and scallops in a rich broth, and Smoked Chicken from Snowdance Farms that is smoked with hickory and apple wood and then finished over the fire to crisp the skin to a golden brown.
Gage & Tollner is doing lunch. The historic restaurant in Downtown Brooklyn is launching a new daytime menu. It includes a dry-aged Hamburger Sandwich, Soft-Poached Eggs on housemade Gougeres, the G&T signature Chopped Salad, assorted fresh pastries, and much more. Sunday afternoons will feature lunch and a show, with special live jazz performances each week.
Jupiter has opened its rinkside terrace with ample seating for guests and office parties. Jupiter, from the King team, is one of several new offerings at Rockefeller center. Named after the Roman King of Gods - as well as a wink to Prometheus nearby – Jupiter is known for serving Italian favorites such as zucchini fritti, beef carpaccio sott’olio with horseradish, and crab toast with fennel. There is Venetian seafood risotto with the broth made with Prosecco and saffron,and topped with whole langoustine.
The Press Club is going back to 1969 in recognition of the Miracle Mets, Moon Landing and Woodstock. The Midtown restaurant is offering a $19.69 two-course prix fixe lunch with offerings such as Mama's Chicken Soup with matzah balls, parsnips, and dill; Sweet Vidalia Onion Dip with house made potato chips; Turkey Club with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and bacon with choice of fries or salad, Cavatelli Primavera and more. Save room for a $7 Martini.

Claire Ptak is popping up at Corner Bar on May 4th. The chef and owner of London's beloved Violet Bakery is releasing her new cookbook, Love is a Pink Cake: Irresistible Bakes for Morning, Noon, and Night on May 2nd At the Corner Bar. She’ll be offering dishes from her book for breakfast, lunch and mid-day, including Chocolate Glazed Donuts, Choux Donuts, Blackcurrant Violet Sorbet, Lemon Meringue Pie Bars and California Cake.
