Leading the local list at No. 17 is Una Pizza Napoletana, the Orchard Street destination from Anthony Mangieri, whose mastery of Neapolitan pizza has earned him worldwide acclaim. His dough-driven approach and obsessive sourcing have made Una a pilgrimage-worthy pizzeria in Manhattan.

At No. 25 is Lucali, the Carroll Gardens classic founded by Mark Iacono, known for its perfectly charred, minimalist pies. Right behind at No. 27, Stretch—by culinary innovator Wylie Dufresne—blends technical precision with playful toppings.

L’Industrie Pizzeria in Williamsburg comes in at No. 34, thanks to Florence-born Massimo Laveglia and his cult-favorite burrata-topped slices. Don Antonio, run by Giorgia Caporuscio and known for textbook Neapolitan pies, ranks at No. 52. Rounding out the NYC winners at No. 95 is Mama’s TOO!, Frank Tuttolomondo’s Upper West Side gem beloved for its thick, cheesy squares.

The rankings are determined by 512 global pizza experts across 60 countries, with a mission to spotlight true craftsmanship, heritage, and excellence. While Italy still dominates, New York's showing proves it's in a league of its own.
