Selune, a natural wine and oyster bar blending Parisian charm with Bed-Stuy soul, has officially opened its doors at 478 Halsey Street. Created by Paris native Marc Lioussane and his partner Bilen Gaga, Selune brings French-inspired small plates, curated natural wines, and thoughtful design to a century-old landmark building in Brooklyn.

With exposed brick, salvaged wood, and traditional Ethiopian artwork woven throughout the intimate space, the 50-seat bar offers a grounded yet refined gathering place that celebrates both the neighborhood’s past and its vibrant present.

The beverage menu is a standout, featuring over 120 natural wines, low-intervention bottles from France and the U.S., and handpicked Japanese sakes. Cocktail lovers will find unique creations like the Bed Stuy Spritz with sage-orange cordial, the Dirty South with thyme-infused tequila and corn, and the savory Sunset Martini with miso and rice vinegar. Non-drinkers aren’t left out—mocktails like the Red Ruby and The Daisy show Selune’s inclusive spirit.

On the food front, oysters are front and center, served with housemade ponzu, vinegar-shallot, and lemongrass sauces, and offered for just $1 each during happy hour. Small plates echo classic French bistro fare with dishes like Scallops Carpaccio, Sardines with seaweed butter, a decadent Truffle Croque Monsieur, and Snow Crab Salad with citrus. Desserts like Crème Brûlée and Brioche French Toast round out the experience.

Selune isn’t just a new wine bar—it’s a love letter to neighborhood hospitality, global flavors, and intentional design. Open nightly with extended weekend hours and reservations available on Resy, Selune is already shaping up to be a Bed-Stuy favorite.
