Open Streets on Columbus Avenue (from 68th Street to 77th Street) is hosted by the Columbus Avenue BID, in partnership with NYC Department of Transportation, and will host spectacular events now till October 30th on every Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
The line-up includes:
FREE Columbus Ave Historic Walking Tours with Lucie Levine every Sunday in September (9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25). The tour will start at 11:00AM at Columbus Ave and W 68th Street (the end of Open Streets). The tour duration is roughly 90 minutes. Find out which storefront once boasted a basement bowling alley, and discover the artists, female entrepreneurs, and titanic survivors who called the Avenue home.
Open Streets Runway Show on September 11, 2022 at 5PM on Columbus Ave & 76th St. The show will coincide with New York Fashion Week featuring fall fashions from local boutiques. The fashion show will be styled by UWS resident and wardrobe stylist, Morgan Bienvenue. All looks will be modeled by local New Yorkers and an after party in the streets will follow the show.
Katie Dwyer Music Album Launch Party, Sept. 11 at 11Am on Columbus Ave between 76th and 77th Streets. Join Katie to celebrate the release of her album Music Makes Me Happy!
Community Swap Event with popupswapX on last Sunday of the Month (7/30, 8/28, 9/25, 10/30) 12PM to 4PM at Columbus Ave between 71st and 72nd Streets.
