SONA (36 East 20th St) is decking out the restaurant to celebrate & honor HOLI, an ancient Indian celebration of color that welcomes the arrival of spring.
Vibrant, colorful dessert specials will be offered, including a Rainbow Sherbert (pineapple, lime, blood orange, coconut macaroon) by pastry chef Grayson Claes.
Cocktail specials will also be provided like the Holi Violet Flight made with Jin Jiji Indian Gin, Luxardo Maraschino and Creme de Violette and lemon with edible gold glitter, and the Avocado Khus Mojito. All cocktails will be dressed up with festive colored sugars throughout HOLI
SONA is partnering with NYC-based design brand Lateral Objects to outfit the dining room during Holi with their Gradient Glasses
Visitors can also expect lively decorations including colorful garlands adorning the windows, mirrors and bar throughout the celebration. Reservations recommended.
