The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) have announced the performers and speakers for their annual “Sing Out For Freedom” benefit concert, which will be held on Monday, November 2 at 6:30pm. The virtual broadcast will be directed by Tony Award nominee Liesl Tommy.
SAG Award winner Lea DeLaria will host the event, which will feature performances and appearances by Rachel Brosnahan, Laura Benanti, André De Shields, Kelly McCreary, Adrienne Warren, Katrina Lenk, Heidi Schreck, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Phillipa Soo, Brandon Victor Dixon, Daniel J. Watts, Ephraim Sykes, Keala Settle, Eisa Davis, Aneesh Sheth, Amber Iman,, Jo Lampert, George Salazar, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Jelani Alladin, Mykal Kilgore, Treshelle Edmond, Raymond Lee, Larry Owens, Shaina Taub, Sasha Allen, Thursday Williams, Ty Defoe, L Morgan Lee, Jomama Jones, Gaelynn Lea, Mary Kathryn Nagle, Liana Stampur and Broadway Inspirational Voices.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the work of the NYCLU and the ACLU to promote and protect civil rights and liberties in New York and across the country. The concert is free with a suggested donation of $20.
