After 19 months of being closed due to the pandemic, Chelsea Market is pleased to announce the reopening of Michelin-acclaimed seafood restaurant Cull & Pistol. In addition to the reopening, Cull & Pistol took the time off to refresh its interior space and menu.

Highlights include: Pistols on Horseback (fried Chesapeake oysters rolled up in slices of cured ham), Salmon Shawarma Pita, and the Lobster Bake for 2. It is comprised of lobster, New Caledonian Prawns, mussels, clams, chorizo, marble potatoes and corn. All the shellfish is steamed in a house made lobster stock and mounted with lemon thyme butter. Once everything is cooked, the pot is finished with fresh lemon juice and herbs. Also on the menu, Grilled Spanish Octopus that is wild-caught and served atop a ragu of sofrito (onion-tomato marmalade), chorizo, creamy butter beans and roasted red peppers. For dessert, there’s banana pudding and key lime pie.

As part of the design refresh, Cull & Pistol also installed a custom Silestone bar and tabletops, white oak backbar shelving to highlight the wine and beverage program, and warm lighting throughout the space.

Cull & Pistol is located at 75 9th Ave, New York, NY (646) 568-1223
