Smorgasburg returns for the season at the World Trade Center next to the Oculus. Visitors can choose from an eclectic mix of foods ranging from oysters on the half shell to freshly baked pizzas.
This year’s roster includes Burger Supreme which is offering a “boardwalk-style burger stand” by Mark Andrew Gravel; Rooster Boy is serving Japanese-style fried chicken as sandwiches and karaage (nuggets) along with queso fries; Parish NYC is offering Po’ Boys and Gumbo from owner Tony Lauricella who was driven by his quest for authentic New Orleans food; and Yakitori Tatsu offering assorted skewers, including Pork Belly, Scallop, Eel and Kobe Beef. At Oyster Party they are turning out shucked oysters by the dozens and a fantastic Lobster Roll (top) loaded up with fresh lobster!
Smorgasburg at the World Trade Center is open Fridays from 11am-7pm from spring through fall.
