This Thanksgiving, New York City is buzzing with excitement as Spider-Man makes his grand return to the streets and skies of the Big Apple after more than a decade. According to a Marvel press release, the iconic superhero, beloved by millions, is set to debut an all-new balloon during the 98th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® on November 28. The balloon, inspired by the legendary art style of comic book icon John Romita Sr., promises to thrill both live spectators and viewers tuning in from around the country.
Spider-Man first appeared in the parade back in 1981 and has become a staple of this holiday tradition. His comeback brings excitement not just for longtime fans but also for a new generation. Artisans from Macy's Parade Studio have collaborated with Marvel to create this striking balloon, ensuring Spider-Man captures the essence of the character. As families gather to watch the parade, the sight of Spider-Man floating above will add a special touch to the Thanksgiving celebration.
