Star Performances Planned for 78th Annual Tony Awards

Tony Award Productions has announced that the 78th Annual Tony Awards will feature performances from some of Broadway’s most acclaimed new musicals and revivals, including Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, Death Becomes Her, Floyd Collins, Gypsy, Maybe Happy Ending, Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical, Pirates! The Penzance Musical, Sunset Blvd., Just In Time, and Real Women Have Curves. The evening will also include a special appearance by the 2019 Tony Honor recipient, Broadway Inspirational Voices.

In a landmark reunion, the original Broadway cast of Hamilton will take the stage to celebrate the show’s 10th anniversary, featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda, Phillipa Soo, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, and many others.

Tony Award Productions also announcing the legendary lineup of stars set to present at 78th Annual Tony Awards: Aaron Tveit, Adam Lambert, Alex Winter, Allison Janney, Ariana DeBose, Ben Stiller, Bryan Cranston, Carrie Preston, Charli D’Amelio, Danielle Brooks, Jean Smart, Jesse Eisenberg, Katie Holmes, Keanu Reeves, Kelli O’Hara, Kristin Chenoweth, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Lea Michele, Lea Salonga, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Michelle Williams, Oprah Winfrey, Rachel Bay Jones, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Samuel L. Jackson, Sara Bareilles, and Sarah Paulson., Additionally, Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will be the show announcer.

The 78th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 8:00–11:00 PM ET / 5:00–8:00 PM PT on the CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+. Ahead of the main show, Darren Criss and Renée Elise Goldsberry will host The Tony Awards: Act One, a pre-show streaming live on Pluto TV beginning at 6:40 PM ET / 3:40 PM PT.
