The timed omakase is having a moment, and Sushi by Boū is leading the charge—now with a bold new outpost in New Rochelle’s Westchester Place. Known for transforming underutilized spaces into microrestaurants with major character, the brand continues its nationwide expansion with a 35-seat speakeasy-style lounge and its largest sushi counter to date, seating up to 18 guests.
In typical Boū fashion, this isn't your average sushi spot. The New Rochelle location channels the energy of NYC through a visual mashup of 1960s pop art, ‘70s disco, and ‘80s street graffiti, complete with a rotating gallery of local artists. First up: powerful black-and-white street photography by the late Arlene Gottfried, curated by CLAMP (New York).

Guests can choose between a 12-course omakase for $65 or 17-course experience for $100, featuring seasonal standouts like Botan Ebi (spotted prawn), Hotate (scallop), and their signature Wagyuni (Wagyu + uni) surf-and-turf bite. And watch out for the Big Mac. The vibe is buzzy but intimate—ideal for sipping Japanese spirits and watching master chefs slice through O-Toro with precision and style.
Sushi by Boū New Rochelle is now open Thursday–Sunday with five timed seatings starting at 5 PM. Reservations via sushibybou.com or OpenTable.
