King David Tacos, which began with two breakfast taco carts, now has a brick-and-mortar location on Bergen Street in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The company was started by Austin expat Liz Solomon who brings in fresh tortillas made in Texas.

The menu includes signature breakfast tacos like the BPEC with bacon, potato, egg and cheese, and Mom's Migas, a vegetarian taco with scramble eggs, Mom's salsa, tortilla chips, topped with japapeno rajas, and cheese. For lunch there's the Cowboy with steak, potato, egg and cheese and Pollo Verde with shredded roasted chicken topped with jalapeno rajas and cheese. Sides include nachos, queso & chips and a 2-ounce queso shooter. Tapo Chico and Stumptown coffee drinks are sold along with items like Horchata + Coffee and Mexican Hot Chocolate.
