The Atlantic Terminal Mall Announces Its Summer Events

The warmer months in Brooklyn are when the neighborhood comes alive and everyone is itching to escape the office and get outside. In celebration, Atlantic Terminal Mall invites families and friends looking for fun ways to get moving this season to join the Summer Series at Atlantic Terminal for Soul Sundays, Move & Groove Mondays, and Summer Salsa Nights each week now through the end of August.

Soul Sundays: Atlantic Terminal’s outdoor plaza will start the week strong with Soul Sundays featuring DJ Ace, spinning old school hip hop and bringing classic beats and rhythms that will have you moving and grooving all afternoon. All are invited to experience the ultimate Sunday sessions free of charge from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Soul Sundays have kicked off and will continue every other week through August 18th.

Summer Salsa Nights: For those looking to spice things up, Wednesday nights will bring the ‘heat’ with Summer Salsa Nights starting June 26th, bi-weekly through August 21st. Live music by the Cuarteto Guataca will provide the perfect backdrop for salsa savants and beginners alike to learn steps taught by dance teacher and choreographer, Marlon International.

Move & Groove Mondays: Starting Monday, June 10th continuing weekly through August 26th, Move &Groove Mondays will be taking over the outdoor plaza with an exhilarating hour of free Zumba led by expert instructor Mike Gomez. Perfect for both beginners and Zumba veterans, Atlantic Terminal is the place to be for a vibrant atmosphere that combines fitness and fun in the summer breeze. Classes will run from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
