After a few short months, the Banty Rooster in the West Village is bidding farewell. In an Instagram post, the restaurant saying after fighting for months the stay alive, the "crushing cost" of rent made the deicision for us. The Banty Rooster will remain open for outdoor dining starting this weekend through August 22. The couple behind the restaurant vowing "the Banty will rise again" when they settle back in Colorado
