The Copacabana closes its Times Square location as the coronavirus continues to take a financial toll on the city. According to reports, the club which has been around for 80 years, plans to relocate to an undisclosed location sometime next year. At the time of it's opening in Times Square, Cititour wrote, "The club with its signature white palm trees features a posh dining room on the first level where you can dine on Nuevo Latino classics by chef Alex Garcia while sipping some mojitos. Or, head upstairs where a $20 cover charge lands you on one of the city's hottest dance floors. Salsa, merengue and mamba the night away to the beat of the 15-piece Copacabana Orchestra." We'll be looking forward to seeing its return.
