The Meatpacking District is heating up with places like Buddakan and TAO drawing crowds for both indoor and outdoor dining. We've also spotted people lining up at Catch, while Pastis appears to always be packed. The Standard Biergarten is also back and buzzing these days.

At TAO, nightly specials include dishes like Truffle Pumpkin and Seafood Dumplings and Matcha Coconut Tres Leches Cake. The signature TAO-tini is a mix of Mango Vodka, Malibu Rum, cranberry and fresh lime.

The vivid flavors of the Far East are on full disply at Buddakan where you can nosh on Peking Duck, General Tso's Dumplings and Sweet & Crispy Jumbo Shrimp. Drinks include the Tempest with flor de cana aged rum, St. Elizabeth spiced dram, yuzu and ginger beer.

Catch Seafood is offering brunch where a "Waffle Tower" is offered topped with maple, milk chocolate and raspberry ice cream, chocolate ganache, raspberry jam and toasted almonds. Seafood options include a spicy tuna Hellfire Roll and Lobster Mac & Cheese.

At Pastis, which opened earlier than most, diners will find everything from a Croque Monsieur sandwich to Steak Frites with maître d’hôtel butter.  Other options include Duck à l’orange, Lobster Frites and Beef Bourguignon. Cocktails include the Mélange À Trois with cognac, bergamot, mint and lemon.

The Standard Biergarten is also back and open Wednesday through Sunday.  The open-air beer garden is serving up sausages, pretzels and beer, including 3 tableside taps.
