In a bid to ease the cost of congestion pricing for those driving into Midtown Manhattan, and to encourage the support of local businesses, the Times Square Alliance is announcing several offers being made by local businesses.

SaiTong Thai (244 West 48th Street) will offer $9 off the bill for guests who reserves through Resy and puts “congestion fee” into the special request – valid now until Feb 13. SaiTong Thai will also soon celebrate its one-year anniversary as one of the new businesses in the district, offering Southern Thai cuisine with a focus on seafood and popular dishes including Nakorn Fish Curry Salad and Pad Thai “Chaiya.”

As an Off-Broadway theater, The Theater Center just implemented a congestion pricing deal where patrons who use the code "FARE9" will receive $9 off any of their current shows through the end of February. Current shows include Friends! The Musical Parody, Perfect Crime, The Office! A Musical Parody, and Singfeld! A Musical About Nothing!

At Lagos TSQ (727 7th Avenue), patrons just need to show a valid driver’s license and use the code "TSQDrive" to get $10 off your bill. This three-story Nigerian restaurant and nighttime lounge features an energizing atmosphere and traditional West African cuisine – known for its pepper soups, Ofada stew, and flavorful jollof rice.

At Russian Samovar (256 West 52nd Street), patrons will be reimbursed $9 off their bill (during dinner only) with a picture of their parked car with the date stamp. This legendary Eastern European restaurant welcomed iconic celebrities from Mikhail Baryshnikov, Liza Minelli, Cyndi Lauper and many others.

At Jasmine’s Caribbean Cuisine (371 W. 46th Street), guests who present a valid driver’s license and mention the code "Beat Congestion" will receive $5 off their bill. As a gem on Restaurant Row, Jasmine’s features cuisine from Dominica, Antigua, St. Thomas, Trinidad and Jamaica with recipes passed down through generations.

Congestion pricing went into effect in NYC’s Central Business District on January 5, 2025.
