Tony Awards and "Broadway Back" to Air on September 26

“The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back!,” a celebration of the return of Broadway shows to be hosted by Leslie Odom, Jr., will air on Sunday, September 26 on CBS from 9pm-11pm. The presentation of majority of the American Theatre Wing’s 74th Annual Tony Awards, to be hosted by Audra McDonald, will stream live exclusively from 7pm-9m on the Paramount+ network.

Among the stars who will appear throughout the four-hour evening are John Legend, Annaleigh Ashford, Kerry Butler, Kristin Chenoweth, André De Shields, Jake Gyllenhaal, Christopher Jackson, Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel, Ruthie Ann Miles, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bebe Neuwirth, Kelli O’Hara, Ben Platt, Jeremy Pope, Chita Rivera, Daphne Rubin-Vega, BD Wong, Wayne Brady, David Byrne, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Matthew Morrison, Darlene Love, Jon Batiste, Stephanie J. Block, Wayne Brady, Tituss Burgess, Darren Criss, Robbie Fairchild, Beanie Feldstein, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jordan Fisher, Santino Fontana, Andrew Garfield, Jared Grimes, Josh Groban, Jennifer Holliday, Nikki M. James, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Ron Cephas Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Norm Lewis, John Lithgow, Lindsay Mendez, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jennifer Nettles, Lynn Nottage, Adam Pascal, Bernadette Peters, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Andrew Rannells, Anthony Rapp, Anika Noni Rose, Lea Salonga, Ali Stroker, Courtney B. In addition, there will be special performances from the three Tony nominated Best Musical contenders -- “Moulin Rouge,” “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” and “Jagged Little Pill”; and the live presentation of three Tony Awards, including Best Play, Best Revival of a Play and Best Musical.
