From $5 rolls to waterfront feasts, here's where to get cracking.
National Lobster Day falls on Saturday, June 15, and lobster season is officially here. Whether you’re after a buttery roll, chilled platter, or luxe surf and turf, these NYC spots are serving standout lobster dishes all season long.
Burger & Lobster – Bryant Park
Choose from the Classic Lobster Roll (chilled lobster with lemon mayo and chives) or the Connecticut Roll (served warm with lemon and butter). For a feast, go with the Combo for Two: whole lobster, burger, and roll with fries and salad. The Beast Burger tops a Nebraskan beef patty with lobster and truffle tarragon mayo.
Cathédrale – East Village
Two Mini Maine Lobster Rolls for just $5 during happy hour (Sun–Fri, 5–7 PM), finished with Calabrian chile mayo on housemade Pain au Lait buns. Or try the Chilled Maine Lobster à la Nantaise with cucumber, avocado, and celery root remoulade.
Essex Pearl – Pier 57, Market 57
The Buttered Lobster Roll ($24) is packed with poached Maine lobster, herb gremolata, and crispy shallots on toasted brioche. A standout from chef Daniel Le and Aqua Best blending Southeast Asian flavors with coastal classics.
Grand Army – Boerum Hill
A Japanese mayo lobster roll with celery and citrus crowns the Highbrow Tower, a lavish seafood display featuring oysters, clams, shrimp, and ceviche. Best enjoyed with one of their signature cocktails.
Lure Fishbar – SoHo
Go simple with a Chilled Half Lobster ($24) or all-out with the Grand Platter ($195) featuring 1 lb lobster and more. The Lobster Tempura Roll ($23) layers tail meat with tobiko, spicy mayo, avocado, and cucumber.
The Fulton – Seaport District
Enjoy waterfront views alongside Longevity Noodles topped with 1½ lb glazed Maine lobster, or a Whole Steamed Lobster (market price). For brunch, the Maine Lobster Roll ($38) comes with house-made vinegar chips.
The Mermaid Inn – Multiple Locations
The “Nearly Famous” Lobster Roll is served on griddled brioche with Old Bay mayo or drawn butter, plus fries. Try the Lobster Knuckles escargot-style ($18), or go big with the Great Grand Platter ($165) featuring a whole lobster.
Sake No Hana – Lower East Side
Lobster features in a $10 Chirashi Don at the bar, a Lobster Yuzu Aioli Temaki ($24), and a Maine Lobster entrée ($68) with yuzu and tobanjan chili butter—refined flavors at every level.
Seamore’s – Upper East Side
The Lobster Mac + Cheese blends Maine lobster, rigatoni, and three cheeses, finished with breadcrumbs and chives. The Maine Lobster Roll comes with mayo, celery, Old Bay, and your choice of fries or salad. Add the Jonah Crab + Blackened Shrimp Dip on the side.
The Dynamo Room – Midtown
Start with Chilled Deviled Lobster or add a Lobster Tail to any of the signature steaks—from Filet Mignon to a 30-Day Dry-Aged KC Strip—for a classic surf and turf experience.
Crack into summer—one lobster at a time.
