Cititour Review:

A branch of Bed-Stuy Fish Fry is now in Downtown Brooklyn.  Like the original in Bedford Stuyvesant, fried fish is the mainstay here, including whiting and catfish, but you will also find shrimps, scallops and salmon on the menu.

We tried the whiting sandwich which is a steal at around five bucks.  It comes with three crisp, perfectly seasoned filets on two slices of wheat bread.  Just watch out.   There may be some fins still attached.  But it is a tasty sandwich served with hot sauce and tarter sauce.  You can also buy it as fish and chips.

Look for other Southern delights like barbecued chicken wings, turkey meatloaf, mac-n-cheese and collard greens.  There are homemade cakes, sold whole or by the slice, in flavors like German chocolate, red velvet and carrot.  We also spotted mini sweet potato pies.  Yum.
