From the folks that brought Brasserie Pushkin comes Betony. Look for New American fare and classic cocktails. Executive Chef Bryce Shuman, formerly of Eleven Madison Park, is in the kitchen. Dinner items include cured pink salmon with pickled red onion, grilled shortrib with romaine and sweetbreads, and roast chicken with morels and Tokyo turnips. For dessert, try some frozen chocolate stout macarons. Drinks include something called "Death in the Afternoon" made with champagne and absinthe.
