Bread from Beirut

Bread from Beirut

Cuisine: Middle Eastern, Lebanese

Cititour Review: Bright vibrant colors greet you at the door. A brick oven with flat breads baking by a wood fire add a touch of authenticity to this Lebanese restaurant in the city's diamond district. The food though is just fair. The lentils were tasty but undercooked. The shish Kebab was reheated and barely warm. The zaatar bread barely had a dusting of dried thyme and sesame seeds which wouldn't be bad except when the price is over $4. The one standout - the grape leaves which were juicy and flavorful.
