Summary:

Brooklyn Kura can now be found at Industry City in Sunset Park. Billed as New York's first sake brewery, visitors will find a sleek tap room for tasting the city's first American Craft Sake. The space, which has an industrial feel, features a bar and sharing tables. Several varieties of sake are available on tap, by the glass or carafe.  Snacks including cheese and charcuterie are also available. Founders Brian Polen and Brandon Doughan are putting a new twist on this ancient beverage by pairing it with unique American ingredients. They also want to educate people about the subtle and complex nature of sake. Cheers! See more

Note: Brooklyn Kura is also teaming up with Ramen Lab (70 Kenmare St) to create three ramen recipes using sake kasu, a by-product of sake production. The dishes can be sampled at Ramen Lab's lower Manhattan location from March 6th through March 24th. Learn more
