Buttercup Bake Shop is a wonderful spot for sweet indulgences, in particular, cupcakes. They come in an assortment of colors and flavors, like Devil Dog, that gets a drizzle of chocolate syrup over a fluffy meringue frosting. There's Salted Caramel version and S'mores, my son's favorite, made with graham cracker and topped with mini toasted marshmallows. Other choices include Apple Pie a La Mode, Lemon-Raspberry Meringue and a Hummingbird cupcake with banana, pineapple and pecans with a cream cheese frosting. And while you may will pay a little more, these cupcakes are all made by hand. Layer cakes, cookies and mini cupcakes are also available. - Thomas Rafael
