 Cuisine: Coffee Shops Summary: Devocion, a Colombian coffee roaster, has expanded to Downtown Brooklyn with a café in a new high-rise at 33 Bond Street. The beans are sourced in Bogota and shipped to a roasting facility in Williamsburg allowing the company to go from "origin-to-roaster-to-cup" in as little as 10 days, making it one of the freshest cups of coffee available in the U.S. Aside from coffee drinks (including Macchiato, Cortado, Cappuccino, Latte and Americano), Devocion also offers Sparkling Cascara, a drink made from coffee fruit, and an assortment of Brooklyn-made pastries and savory items. The café boasts 18-foot floor to ceiling windows and an assortment of tropical plants inspired by a Colombian rain forest.
