Dylan's Candy Bar just got a little sweeter with its new Candy Bar and Cafe. After you've made your way through the bins of candy and kids on the lower levels, wander upstairs for a bite to eat or perhaps even sip a candy-flavored cocktail.

Elizabeth Hazard Adorned with cupcake-shaped booths, the whimsy continues in the upper level cafe where you can order a pizza ($8) or dessert pizzas like S'Mores or the Clodhopper with chocolate shavings (both white and milk chocolate) and caramel sauce ($10). The sundaes are made with homemade ice cream, including a Pancake-and-Syrup flavor that's a must-try. The sandwiches here aren't your typical pb+j when you can create your own with candy and toppings. With sandwich names like Super Duper Brownie Graham Whoa ($6) how can your sweet tooth not be curious? Wash it down with one of Dylan's Chillins kicked-up-a-notch frozen hot chocolates. One to try? The Birthday Party ($6) complete with birthday cake, hot fudge and sprinkles. yum. For the adult sweet lovers, the bar offers a fun menu of candy cocktails like the Pop Rocks Explosion ($8), Strawberry Nerds Mojito ($9), or the Pink Cotton Candy ($15) with actual cotton candy in the drink. The Chocolate-Dipped Berry ($15) and Coffee Cake Martini ($12) look just as enticing. For those who've had their fill of sweets for the day, the bar offers beer and wine too. Stop in for Happy Hour between 5-8 every day where you can get select drinks for $6 a piece. Talk about a sweet deal. Neighborhood: East 60s Leave a Comment |
