E.A.K. Ramen in Hell's Kitchen will offer a more extensive menu and an expanded sake program. The original restaurant opened last year in the West Village with a focus on IEKEI-style ramen which marries two different styles – Tokyo’s shoyu (soy) and tonkotsu (pork) from Western Japan – along with their unique thick cut noodles. New dishes include temari sushi, which are round rather than oblong, scallop on the half shell with ponzu butter, and grilled chicken wings with sansho prickly peppers. Eight types of ramen will be offered including, new Tokyo chicken ramen. A large selection of sake will also be offered.
