Gaia, the Mediterranean restaurant in Herald Square, has launched a new menu under Executive Chef Evangelos Ktistakis, whose impressive résumé includes The Ritz-Carlton’s Atelier and David Burke Townhouse. The refreshed menu celebrates traditional Mediterranean flavors with standout dishes like Seafood Orzotto, Short Rib Youvetsi, and house-made Spinach Pie. Guests can opt for a $32 two-course lunch or dive into dinner plates ranging from grilled shrimp to pan-seared wild cod. The cocktail program, curated by GM Gianni Tarko, includes inventive sips like the Midtown Martini and Mediterranean Night. Set in a historic 1903 building, Gaia pairs old-world charm with modern touches and live entertainment.
