NYC Restaurants

Izzies on the Lower East Side is home to Philly-inspired cheesesteaks with a bit of New York flair. The cheesesteaks come two ways; with steak or chicken and your choice of cheese (provolone, American, whizz etc). Assorted toppings include fried onions, avocado, jalapenos, crispy bacon and more. We tried the steak which was wonderful.They are also turning out terrific buffalo wings. They are plump and juicy and swimming in hot sauce served with celery and blue cheese dressing on the side. They would be great with a couple of cold brews while watching a football game. Wowser! Burgers, hot dogs, hoagies and empanadas are also available.
