French-inspired bites and innovative cocktails await at Le Club, a sophisticated dining bar and lounge in the Meatpacking District. It is a concept created by L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and replaces Le Grill.  Culinary Director Christophe Bellanca, a longtime protege of Joël Robuchon and who earned a Michelin star at Le Grill, is overseeing the menu which draws its inspiration from the garden, sea and land. Small bites are meant to encourage socializing and sharing. They include dishes like Mushroom Veloute with parsley emulsion, Hamachi with crispy coconut rice, avocado and citrus glaze, and Foie Gras with creme brûlée and green apple foam. A Cotton Candy Cloud adorned with chocolate drops can be found among the desserts. Dushan Zaric (Black Owl, Employees Only) leads the beverage program with a “speakeasy elegant” style that puts the focus on fresh fruits and herbs. Large format cocktails and weekly daiquiri specials are also being offered. The space, designed by Pierre Yves Rochon, offers lush velvet banquettes, large wine wall and modern chandeliers. As Le Club’s Director of Operations, Deleon Pinto, puts it, “It’s all about spectacle," adding, “And it’s never the same show twice.” >>
